Status of Nigerian English

English emerged in the Nigerian context as a result of need to communicate with many people from different ethnic backgrounds who speak languages. However, uniqueness appears, which is standard English. This study aims analyze status by explaining morphological and syntactic features how they differ Standard uses descriptive qualitative approach. The data will be carefully collected represent various syntactical aspects.
